Islanders Pay Tribute to the 150 Anniversary of the RCMP and 50 Years of Women in the Force.
The Charlottetown Islanders of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League played Rimouski Oceanic on January 11, 2024 but before the game took the time to recognize the 150th Anniversary of the Force. They also recognized the 50th Anniversary of Women in the RCMP. President Phil Pitts was part of the colour party along with Acting Commanding Officer of "L" Division, Superintendent Kevin Smith.
